There will be a brief called meeting of the session on Wednesday, February 1, 2012, 5:30 p.m. for the purpose of forming a Master Planning Committee.

If you have ever wanted to be a lay reader or have wondered “Why we do what we do” attend our workshop on February 5th following worship for liturgist training. Please RSVP to Lori Cummings @ (936) 240-0724.

New Member Orientation- if you are interested in joining the church or wish to find out more regarding membership in the Presbyterian Church, please join us in the conference room on Wednesday, February 15, at 5:30 p.m. Please contact the church office with your RSVP, 634-3711, if you plan to attend.

Lenten Worship Services:

Ash Wednesday Service , February 22, 6:00 p.m.- Imposition of Ashes and Communion.

Lenten Services , every Wednesday night, 6:00 p.m., beginning Wednesday, February 29 through  Wednesday, March 28.

Maundy Thursday Service , Thursday, April 5, 6:00 p.m.- Communion and Draping of the Cross.

Good Friday Service , Friday, April 6, Noon- Prayers, Reading the last words of Jesus, Singing, simple lunch to follow.

Mark your calendars for a joint recital featuring two of our SFA choir members, Shelby and Miles, Sunday, February 26 at 2:00 in our sanctuary. This will be a fund raiser to help them with their SFA Europe tour! A love offering will be taken.
